About Our Edu-Safe Membership System
Each new registered tablet user is provided with a membership in “Club K.E.W.L.” which teaches them about cyber-safety and netiquette (appropriate online behavior) and provides them with a wealth of exciting and valuable rewards and incentives for many of the activities that they already normally do online. Many of their normal online and even offline activities are instantly rewarded with our systems cyber-cash called “YoDough” which they will be able to redeem at our Cyber-mart as well as at any participating online and offline “Club K.E.W.L. Community Partner”. These approved activities include but are not limited to taking our fun interactive game based e-learning modules which covers many areas such as cyber-safety and netiquette (appropriate online behavior), life-skills, fun interactive reading-spelling-science and math games and modules just to name a few, logging on every day and checking their Edu-safe email accounts, submitting or developing “appropriate” new website links, contents and applications for approval to be added to our “Knowledge Bank” database, recommending new members and many other additional ways. The Edulabs Edu-Safe system also appeals to its young users as it’s doesn’t make them feel that they are in “Cyber-Jail” and told which website, applications and contents they can or cannot access. We make them feel that this is their “Cyber-Community and we encourage our members to tell us which websites and what applications and contents they want and if it conforms to our contents-applications and contents guidelines, then we work together with them to make it available to them to immediately access and we also reward them for any “appropriate” websites, applications or contents that they suggest to be added to their database. Each newly requested website is pre-screened by our “human content experts” and if it follows our clearly defined “appropriate” contents standards that are provided to each new member and also clearly posted within our safe environment when an new website link is requested to be added to our “Clean Contents Database”, then once approved it is immediately added to our database allowing instant access by our users. If a requested link is not approved the member that submitted the new link request has not been approved and they will be given one opportunity to appeal this decision before it become final and is added to our “Dark Content Database”. As a special incentive for our users, each time a new website is requested by a member and approved the requesting member is given YODough as a reward. This feature will ensure that we will have a continuous supply of updated links, apps and contents that our members truly want because they will be the ones’ in control of determining what it is at the source….as long as it’s “appropriate”!
