The Viewsonic ViewPads 10 and 10s have been chosen as our lower end project Tablet. Although it is priced much lower than both our high-end and mid range models respectively, this doesn’t mean that it is a cheap Tablet with low performance.

To the contrary, the Viewsonic ViewPads are extremely capable Tablets and although it lacks many of the features found on the mid-range and high-end Tablets that we have recommended for our project, it has the most important key features that we deem necessary for the educational market and it can more than pull its weight for most if not all Educational requirements that it is tasked to handle. The ViewPad 10Pro is a dual-OS tablet that runs on Windows 7 Professional and Android 2.2 Froyo. Inside the ViewPad 10Pro is an Intel Oak Trail Z670 1.5GHz processor that is expected to deliver fast computing experience.

The ViewPad 10Pro tablet allows for fast switching between the two operating systems without turning off the device. Hence, you can easily use Android for simple tasks and Windows 7 for the more heavy Windows applications.

The tablet has a 3G radio, 32GB internal storage (expandable via MicroSD or USB), and a 3500mAh battery.
